NON REBREATHING MASK;  commonly referred to as Oxygen mask is a medical device used to deliver high concentrations of oxygen to patients in emergency situations or those experiencing respiratory distress i.e children with oxygen blockage especially during cold seasons . It is a face mask connected to an oxygen supply and includes a reservoir bag and one-way valves to prevent re-inhalation of exhaled gases.

1. High Oxygen Delivery:
   • Delivers approximately 60–100% oxygen at flow rates of 10–15 liters per minute.
2. Reservoir Bag:
   • Collects oxygen and ensures that the patient has a reserve available during inhalation.
3. One-Way Valves:
   • Valve between mask and bag: Prevents exhaled air from entering the reservoir.
   • Side valves on the mask: Allow exhalation but close during inhalation to avoid room air dilution.
